We can't wait to get started rebuilding the Taco Bell at 6007 Bullard Avenue. Since Hurricane Katrina destroyed the previous building, we have submitted plans to rebuild on the same building foundation and using the same parking lot. In such, we must ask for the following variance.
A waiver to allow a drive through restaurant in a C-3 Heavy Commercial District and Corridor Transformation Overlay with a front yard setback larger than the maximum and with parking as the dominant visual element.
Through our plans, we have taken steps to protect the existing mature trees, add additional landscaping, reduce the visual appearance of the existing parking lot, and increase the sites capability to help during rain fall events.
